Day 289 – October 15, 2012

I knew I’d be shooting outside a lot.  I didn’t realize how nice it would be to have a change of scenery and to be visiting the east coast in the fall.  I got such lovely photos.

Day 163 – June 11, 2012

My husband grew a bunch of pretty wildflowers for us.  They made for a good macro today. 

Day 135 – May 14, 2012

Today I am back home in Maryland at my parent’s house.  It was a completely gray day and it rained off and on.  Very unlike the desert I’ve been living in for the past 5 years.  It is still always nice to come home though.  Mom’s garden was blooming and made for a nice picture today.  

Day 128 – May 7, 2012

I wanted the cactus’ needles and the flower to be in focus.  So I took 2 pictures, each one with a different focus and merged them.  I love all the little flowers blooming on the different cacti at this time of year.  Makes things more colorful.

Even in a Walmart parking lot you can find something beautiful.

When I paint I lean toward being an Abstract Expressionist. I decided that I could be an Abstract Expressionist photographer too.
