Day 354 – December 19, 2012

Day 354

My husband bought me two new vintage cameras while he was on TDY to New Mexico recently.  Last night I had a dream I was taking pictures with this one.

In other news, we are leaving tomorrow on our cross-country trek to visit almost all our family members for Christmas and New Years.  I won’t be able to post the rest of the years photos until after we get back on January 6th.  So I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  To all my fellow 366’ers – can you believe it!?  We’ll be done so soon!  It’s been a wonderful adventure.  I’ll be putting my last 12 images of this project up when we get back.  I can’t wait to see the end of all of your projects as well.  And while I might be finished with my everyday project shortly, I’ll be working in January on this project’s book, which I’m planning on having available by the end of January 2013.  See you all next year ;)

Day 247 – September 3, 2012

A simple Labor Day captured through a vintage camera.

Day 246 – September 2, 2012

I love my vintage cameras.  I should do a whole series with them.

Day 237 – August 24, 2012

My newest adoption.  It spent many years working for a Navy Photography Lab in Washington D.C. back in the early to mid 1980’s.  And since it’s older than me, I’m calling it vintage :)  Before the end of this project I’m hoping to get a daily picture out of it.  P.S. Thanks Ken!

Day 174 – June 22, 2012

Ancestor.

Day 62 – March 2, 2012

I inherited an Anscoflex II TLR camera from my Grandmother. I even have a lot of the negatives she originally shot from the 1950s on. I haven’t found any 120 film that actually fits into it though. It’s all just a bit too big. I’ve always wanted to use it to shoot with. So today I did just that. Well, the best I could do without actually having film that fits.
