Day 366 – December 31, 2012

Day 366

This has been an amazing photographic journey for me.  I’m so glad I stuck with it.  Just as I suspected, it has changed my style of shooting.  I recommend every photographer take the time and do a year long project at least once in their life.  I’m taking a break in 2013 from the everyday shooting, but stick around – my husband just got orders to move us from Arizona to Delaware in April.  Life will be changing and so will my work.  Thanks for following me on this year long project :)

Day 350 – December 15, 2012

Day 350

Rain!  A rare sight for out here.  But it’s been raining for almost 24 hours here.  If you zoom into the drops, they each have an upside down palm tree in them :)

Day 326 – November 21, 2012

I love the palm trees next to the Christmas tree.  It may be Christmastime, but it’s still 80 degrees :)

Day 306 – November 1, 2012

It’s hard to remember it’s fall when our leaves don’t change.

Day 293 – October 19, 2012

I flew home last night. And since my time is 3 hours off I woke up at 5:30am.  Good side to that – I saw something I don’t normally see…the sunrise.
I missed you palm tree and warm weather.

Day 262 – September 18, 2012

The moon is just a sliver tonight.

Day 234 – August 21, 2012

We had a huge dust storm and actual storm last night.  We got some much needed rain and some very pretty lightning.  My husband and I went outside together to try to capture some lightning.  We caught a bunch of cool shots.  I really liked this one because of the colors.  This shot is straight out of the camera, I didn’t do anything to it in Photoshop.

Day 218 – August 5, 2012

For anyone who has been following me for a while, you probably recognize these twin palm trees.  They are part of the view from my back yard, and have been featured in a couple shots so far this year.  However, they have never been featured with such beautiful colors.  For some reason the sunset was super gorgeous tonight and this 20 second exposure proved it by capturing these amazing colors and super bright planet and/or star (not sure).

Day 212 – July 30, 2012

A marble as the sun.

Day 200 – July 18, 2012

Happy 200th day to all us 366’s out there.  166 left to go :)  After a busy day today, I realized we had leftover sparklers from the 4th of July.  I told my husband to do a small light drawing for me.  The sky ate some of the spiral though.
