Day 268 – September 24, 2012

Celebratory 22oz Blue Moon and orange slice :)  Good news calls for a big beer.

I haven’t mentioned this on my blog yet, because well, you know how doctors are;  I never really had a for sure answer, I was constantly waiting on test results, and probably also because it was nice keeping one aspect of my life normal – my photo a day, where no one knew I was sick.  Plus I didn’t want to bombard my photo a day shots with pictures of doctor’s offices.  But I was diagnosed with a form of cervical cancer back in June.  Good news today though, after 2 biopsies and 1 surgery, I got the news today I’m cancer free.

Day 251 – September 7, 2012

I wanted to do a little night photography today, I really liked the way this one turned out.  A street lamp turned intense flame on the left, a plane on the right, and some sort of circular lens flare at the top.

Day 70 – March 10, 2012

After we gave the pups a bath they laid in the sun to dry off. This made for some nice contrast. So I decided to see if I could get my daily picture from them. I loved the blues and cyans coming in from the window mixing with Charlotte’s orangish-colored eyes. 

Day 20 – January 20, 2012

We have lots of orange trees on base. I have a feeling I’ll be going back tomorrow to take pictures of their cool leaves.
