Day 275 – October 1, 2012

Reason enough to stop at any and all scenic views.  This was only about 2 hours north of my house.  Arizona is so diverse.  I’m in a desert valley filled with cacti but only two hours north you have this.

Day 228 – August 15, 2012

We drove up to Sedona, Arizona today.  This place is always amazing.  It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.  We drove in around dinner time and there was a storm rolling in.  Our first stop was The Chapel Of The Holy Cross.  

Day 217 – August 4, 2012

Spent the afternoon at the lake with my husband and some wild, photogenic donkeys. 

Day 211 – July 29, 2012

Spent the day at the lake… and forgot my camera.  But at least I had my phone because we found a pirate ship at the lake. 

Day 160 – June 8, 2012

Today my husband and I spent the afternoon at the lake.  It’s always so nice there.  Only, like a fool, I left my camera on my desk and forget to bring it to the lake.  Thank goodness for 8mp camera phones. 

Day 112 – April 21, 2012

I was saving my image for the day for late tonight during a meteor shower we were going to be having.  While I did spot several meteors with my eyes, I wasn’t lucky enough to capture any with my lens.  I did get a few good photographs though.  This one was my favorite.  This was a 4 min 48 second exposure.

Day 84 – March 24, 2012

Went to Lake Pleasant today with my visiting family.  It was a very warm, relaxing, blue day.  In fact it was so relaxing, I sat with the camera next to me the entire time, until we got into the car to leave.  But the car window made a nice frame, so I’m not complaining.
