Day 354 – December 19, 2012

Day 354

My husband bought me two new vintage cameras while he was on TDY to New Mexico recently.  Last night I had a dream I was taking pictures with this one.

In other news, we are leaving tomorrow on our cross-country trek to visit almost all our family members for Christmas and New Years.  I won’t be able to post the rest of the years photos until after we get back on January 6th.  So I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  To all my fellow 366’ers – can you believe it!?  We’ll be done so soon!  It’s been a wonderful adventure.  I’ll be putting my last 12 images of this project up when we get back.  I can’t wait to see the end of all of your projects as well.  And while I might be finished with my everyday project shortly, I’ll be working in January on this project’s book, which I’m planning on having available by the end of January 2013.  See you all next year ;)

Day 101 – April 10, 2012

This is a camera I found in my Nana’s house.  It was in its original box that it had been shipped to her in.  She had never opened it, or opened the camera’s box, or used the camera.  It sat for almost exactly 50 years, in a closet, and was never used.  It’s in my camera collection now, and I don’t use it either.  How sad it must be to be a camera that has never been used, sitting on a shelf surrounded by other cameras that have taken some pretty amazing pictures.
