Best Evening View Of Mercury – Feb. 13, 2013

The 2nd “Must See Stargazing Event of 2013” is between February 2 and 23.  It’s the best evening view of Mercury.     My husband captured it on February 13th.  It’s that little red dot in the middle.

Day 327 – November 22, 2012

Thanksgiving day on the beach.  I’m definitely thankful for the beach and ocean.

I love the palm trees next to the Christmas tree.  It may be Christmastime, but it’s still 80 degrees :)

Day 219 – August 6, 2012

I bought these Water Gems today, and I decided to see if they were photogenic.  It appears they are.  I focused on their reflection, blurring the rest of the image, but it was worth it, you can see the entire back of my house, and my neighbor’s tree.  These things are pretty cool.  I must formulate more ideas to use them in future photos.  

Day 205 – July 23, 2012

You’ll have to pardon me while I continue my cloud obsession.  We just don’t see them around here very often, so I’m simply taking advantage of them.  Today I loved the clouds reflection in this sky blue colored airplane.  Also, I’m anticipating a few more cloud photos to come.

[side note: I’ve been super busy for a few days, and am looking forward to tomorrow when I can catch up on all the blogs I follow. So hurry and post all those blogs for me so I have something to do tomorrow :)]

Day 191 – July 9, 2012

So it was too hot and I ended up being too busy to get a good yo-yo in motion type picture today, which was my original intention.  That will have to be saved for another day, and this portrait of my new favorite yo-yo will have to suffice. .

Day 184 – July 2, 2012

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a picture of these crossed palm trees.  There even happened to be a few clouds in the valley today, which added to the photo. 

Day 172 – June 20, 2012

The little pool in my backyard was calling my name with the 111 degree heat.

Day 151 – May 30, 2012

Our vacation ended today.  We flew back to Arizona.  I wanted to begin and end my vacation days with shots from 32,000 feet in the air.
