Day 362 – December 27, 2012

Day 362

My little sister (who is 9) ran over to me, “Vicki, Vicki!  Quick! Come here, I found your daily picture!”  She brought me over to her frisbee that was sitting on the kitchen counter, and making a wonderful reflection onto the wall.  Thank you Maddie for being on the lookout for my daily picture :)

Day 346 – December 11, 2012

Day 346

This was the very first roll of film I ever took for my first Photography course.  This little roll of film is what started it all.

Day 315 – November 10, 2012

Lack of motivation today led me to a list of ideas for when you’re shooting a 365 project.  One of the ideas was photographing a part of your body you don’t like.  “That’s easy,” I thought.  So I began photographing my least favorite part of my body, my knees, at many different angles.  What I didn’t realize at first, was that no matter which angle I shot my knees at, I was going to hate every photograph because, oh yeah, I hate my knees.  Oops!  Didn’t think that one through.  Anyways, I was able to stand this photo after staring at it for a while.  It became sort of abstract to me.  Am I the only one who hates their knees?  What do you guys think is your least attractive body part?

Day 305 – October 31, 2012

Hitchcock is the best.

Day 255 – September 11, 2012

September 11, 2001 affected us all in a different way, and it still affects us.   There are those who lost someone that day, and there have been almost 8,000 more lost during the past 11 years from the war.   As a 15 year old girl there was no way I could have guessed my future husband would be sent overseas to the war 8 years later, because of that day.

Even if we don’t agree with the war, we can always support our troops.

Day 254 – September 10, 2012

Proof you can take an interesting photograph of your living room pillow.  Can you see all the little flashing white circles inside the black diamonds?

Day 250 – September 6, 2012

I’ve always wanted one of my photos on a Jones Soda bottle.

Any long time followers remember which one is mine?

Day 245 – September 1, 2012

My husband and I planted a few cucumber seeds today, in hopes that the weather will be cooling down enough for things to actually grow out here :)

Day 239 – August 26, 2012

This weekend has been laid back and fun for my daily pictures. Yesterday I posed and today my husband posed.  He’s been my model/assistant for 6 years now.  As a photographer, it’s nice being married to a handsome man who lets you take pictures of him.

If you don’t know who Edward Weston is, Google him and fall in love with his portraiture.  He was my inspiration behind this portrait.

Day 203 – July 21, 2012

It’s hard to believe there’s music in there
