Day 355 – December 20, 2012

Day 355

Today started with us beginning our trek across the country to the east coast. We drove straight, 37 hours, until we arrived.  This is Mount Humphreys in Flagstaff, Arizona.  This was also the first snow we’d seen all season.

We’re back from vacation, and we’re pretty much settled, so I’m going to start the process of uploading the last week and a half of daily pictures from my 366 project.

Sunday Drive

Day 308 – November 3, 2012

The three wise men.

Day 293 – October 19, 2012

I flew home last night. And since my time is 3 hours off I woke up at 5:30am.  Good side to that – I saw something I don’t normally see…the sunrise.
I missed you palm tree and warm weather.

Day 275 – October 1, 2012

Reason enough to stop at any and all scenic views.  This was only about 2 hours north of my house.  Arizona is so diverse.  I’m in a desert valley filled with cacti but only two hours north you have this.

Day 271 – September 27, 2012

I love these fluffy looking Jumping cholla.  Too bad it’s like the most feared little cacti.

Day 262 – September 18, 2012

The moon is just a sliver tonight.

Day 233 – August 20, 2012

Today was our last day in Sedona.  We went to Slide Rock State Park, which was amazing.  I recommend it to everyone.  While I was sitting soaking my feet in the cold water, a water snake decided to scare the crap out of me.  After I calmed down I decided to take its picture.  This is quite a feat for me, considering I’m afraid of spiders, snakes, and basically anything that crawls or slithers.

Day 232 – August 19, 2012

Even though I was surrounded by large red rocks I was happy to find I was still captivated by a small red flower.  Anybody know what type of flower this is?

Day 231 – August 18, 2012

Today we went to the Grand Canyon.  This was my husband’s and my second trip this year.  I don’t think I could ever get tired of such a gorgeous place.
