From Blog to Book

366

I wanted to finish my Blurb book before we moved… so I did! I turned my 366 Day Photo Blog into a book.  I made a 13×11 large landscape version for myself (I wanted a big coffee table book) and a smaller 10×8 version that is more affordable.  Gotta love Blurb!

366 Project Book Update

My Blurb book for the 366 Day Photo Project, which was supposed to be available this month, is behind schedule. My Blurb software updated and all my books vanished. I had backed up the files and they won’t open in the new Blurb software. So I have to start from scratch on something I had been working on 5 minutes a day for the past year. This might take a while. Do not update your Blurb software if you have unfinished books!

Day 366 – December 31, 2012

Day 366

This has been an amazing photographic journey for me.  I’m so glad I stuck with it.  Just as I suspected, it has changed my style of shooting.  I recommend every photographer take the time and do a year long project at least once in their life.  I’m taking a break in 2013 from the everyday shooting, but stick around – my husband just got orders to move us from Arizona to Delaware in April.  Life will be changing and so will my work.  Thanks for following me on this year long project :)

Day 365 – December 30, 2012

Day 365

One of my younger sisters just got engaged and she asked me to be her matron of honor.  She gave me and all of her bridesmaids this bracelet.

Day 362

My little sister (who is 9) ran over to me, “Vicki, Vicki!  Quick! Come here, I found your daily picture!”  She brought me over to her frisbee that was sitting on the kitchen counter, and making a wonderful reflection onto the wall.  Thank you Maddie for being on the lookout for my daily picture :)

Day 360

One of our family’s favorite quotes for the Christmas season.  Anybody recognize where it came from?
