Day 352 – December 17, 2012

We made Christmas cookies a little early this year.  We leave on a cross-country driving adventure on the 20th to my parent’s house.   We’ll be making Christmas cookies there as well, but we couldn’t wait, so we made some here too :)

Day 348 – December 13, 2012

Today is December 13th, which means that today marks the 12th, and final, photograph of the saguaro cactus that I’ve been photographing once a month during this project.  It has been wonderful to see it grow from just a seed.  My husband and I hope to see it grow so big it can’t fit in the house any more.

I’ve been sewing a lot lately.  It’s amazing how much you can do with such a tiny thing.  It’s also amazing how much you can poke yourself with these things.

Time for the monthly baby cactus photo.  It’s definitely been growing.  It’s needles are taking over; it’s hard to see it’s body.

Day 291 – October 17, 2012

My friends dropped me off in Lynchburg, Virginia, on the evening of the 3rd, at my sister’s apartment.  She was at class and work for most of the day, so I sat at her place catching up on sleep and looking for a daily picture.  I found this dusty, dead bug in a corner, and it was sitting upright, almost posing.
