I’m a photographer.

I like to be behind a lens.

<– Although here I got in front of one.

I spent four years studying photography in college, and now I enjoy using the art of photography to study my world, the world of those around me, and to create new worlds.

Update (1/31/2013) My 366 Day Photo Project was a success!  I learned a lot more about myself, as a photographer, and I am truly thankful for those who followed along for the ride.

This blog is dedicated to my first 365 Day Photo Project. Which will actually be a 366 Day Photo Project, seeing as how I picked a leap year to do this. I’ve done several smaller everyday projects, but am finally going for a whole year. The purpose?  To keep me shooting.  As an artist you don’t make much money.  So you shoot weddings, and portraits to get some, but then you get sad you aren’t doing anything for yourself anymore.  So this project is for me.  To keep my brain working and my shutter finger shooting.

I’m not promising a fantastic image for each day, but I do hope you’ll follow along as I explore my world each day with my lens.  Here’s to seeing what I come up with…

    • I know! It really is. It’s giving me a chance to explore with my camera a heck of a lot more than if I wasn’t doing this project. It definitely keeps me thinking and shooting!
