Today was our last day in Sedona. We went to Slide Rock State Park, which was amazing. I recommend it to everyone. While I was sitting soaking my feet in the cold water, a water snake decided to scare the crap out of me. After I calmed down I decided to take its picture. This is quite a feat for me, considering I’m afraid of spiders, snakes, and basically anything that crawls or slithers.

Good for you!
Thanks. It wasn’t easy, and I was also scared of freaking out and slipping on the slippery rock I was standing on and breaking my camera. haha. It was a roller coaster of emotion for little old me.
Wow, I love snakes :-)
I don’t know too many people who love snakes. They scare the dickens outta me.
I was playing at this party (gathering) last Sunday and from nowhere, this scorpion ran across the floor. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it… We get tarantulas and all sorts where we are :D
*shiver* there was a tarantula in my toy box when I was a little girl. I think that was where my fear of all the crawly things stemmed from.
Super! Snakes are cool!
I’m not too keen on snakes either…lol. But I went for the shot anyway.
