I was thinking of how I could show time passing over this leap year of photographs. I decided to take a picture of the saguaro cactus my husband is growing on the 13th of every month. If you go back to January 13th’s post you can see the little cactus when it got its first needles:

Not only is it a bit bigger a month later, but another little cactus popped up next to it, and needles from the other cacti are peeking into my shot on the right side and bottom right corner. I think seeing this grow month by month will satisfy my want to show time passing.
[side note: just for some perspective this little cactus is smaller than a pencil eraser]
