It’s even hotter today than it was yesterday. 115 in the shade on my porch. Thank goodness for air conditioning, and for candles that smell nice since I haven’t been able to open the windows to air out my house in 2 months.

hang in there, yo. I used to work in the factories of Arkansas, I know hot! Loving New England summers now. :)
We manage. It’s a small price to pay to have perfect weather for the rest of the year. I was able to visit Mass. and Rhode Island at the beginning of the summer, and it was lovely up there.
What a great shot! I know what you mean; it doesn’t even cool off enough at night to open the windows. Fall can’t come soon enough, right?
Thank you. I definitely miss the cooler weather. Even something in the 80′s would be nice.
I love this! Great textures, and the nice warm glow of a fire.
Thanks. It definitely has a fall feel.
This is great!! Makes me long for cozy nights by the fire…I´m done with the whole summer thing.
Thanks Kat. I like summer. But not Arizona summers since they are blazing hot. But not humid summers like back east either. Hmm… I think I just like the summer cause you can go to the beach. lol.
Cool…I mean hot..i mean good photo…I’m so confused
haha. Thanks!
Wonderful shot! Sounds too hot for me. unfortunately it’s too cold for summer here. Something in between would have been nice :-)
Thank you Inga. It’s a little too hot for me too. What’s the temperature over there?
The temperature here is only about 12-15 degrees Celsius (the converter tells me that is about 54 to 59 F). It’s been a lousy summer weather wise. But next week they have promised us warmer weather for a little while.
I really like this. I wonder what I would look like if you placed the candle on a third?
Thank you. I tried that actually. It didn’t look right, since this was a small, round candle holder the focus was too off when I placed it on a third. Great minds must think alike though :)
